  18. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  19. for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
  20. In particular, it describes managed objects used for managing the
  21. bridge Network Control Protocol on subnetwork interfaces using the
  22. family of Point-to-Point Protocols.  This RFC is a product of the
  23. Point-to-Point Protocol Extensions Working Group of the IETF.
  24.  
  25. This is now a Proposed Standard protocol.
  26.  
  27. This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet
  28. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
  29. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol
  30. Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol.
